Hi I was interested by the article on the Old Hall tunnels and the excellent quality of the Old Hall photos. I wrote the book "A Greate Service" a history of the hall in the 16th C and the Civil War. I am thinking of producing an updated edition to include info researched in the intervening years. Yours Phill

Interesting how well restored it is. I often stayed with the Biddulph family there when a child in the mid-1950's when you could frequently hear bits of the ruins falling down while drfiting off to sleep.

I descend from the Biddulphs of Ledbury and have been researching my family history. Till just today, I did not know this old hall existed. Is this near the Biddulph Grange? Is it still owned by the Biddulph family?
